Ordeal Ceremony

Brotherhood Ceremony

Vigil Ceremony

Ceremonies are a central part of maintaining the Order's and the Lodge's deep traditions. You could be a part of a Kiskakon ceremony team and help others to see the light along the way, as well as begin to understand the deep meanings in the ceremonies yourself.

Some resources are listed at left for you to use, as well as ceremony scripts for you to practice with.

Ceremonies are password-protected in order to maintain the confidentiality of the three levels of OA membership:

  • For Ordeal-level documents, the password is the admonition.
  • For Brotherhood-level documents, the password is the answer to the question "Have you seen the Arrow?"
  • For Vigil-level documents, the password is the watchwords of the Vigil.

If you would like to be on a ceremony team, contact Lodge Chief Aaron Ware.

Remember, Ordeal, Brotherhood, and Vigil are not the only ceremonies you can do! Many Cub Scout packs ask for us to perorm Webelos Crossover and Arrow of Light ceremonies for them; these are excellent ways to hone your character portrayal skills while exposing the OA to a wide audience and exciting interest in the OA among young Scouts.
